Vintage Location Photos

Another fantastic vintage location photo, this time from Marineland of the Pacific from probably the early 70s.  Marineland closed for good 25 years ago, but the MOLDVILLE.com weekly mold in the CLUB-A-RAMA will bring it back - albeit if just to get one last souvenir figure...

1972 GRAUMAN's CHINESE THEATRE, HOLLYWOOD, California

The MOLD machine stands in the same honored spot where NATALIE WOOD kneeled in 1961 to place her footprints into the cement.  See it?  It's also just to the side of where CARY GRANT placed his footprints 10 years before that (his are seen directly in front of the 'Now Playing' sign)

1962 SEATTLE WORLD'S FAIR, Pavilion of Electric Power

You can just make out that the backglass is the countdown MOLD-A-RAMA design from which MOLDVILLE.com derived its plexi backglass, and is marked "25c" (closeup below)

The coolest part of the closeup above is that it shows a fellow with the BUBBLE on the machine up being cleaned - he's MAINTAINING the Mold-A-Rama machine!
